As far back as I remember I was always painting, drawing or making things and this has continued into adult life. I like to paint a wide range of subjects – landscapes, still lifes, family pets, portraits and anything that inspires me.

I love to use vibrant colours and enjoy using different techniques and mediums. I am mainly self taught but have been lucky enough to receive tutoring from established artists such as Todd Garner and Ed Hunter. Much of my inspiration for landscape painting comes from the beautiful Scottish landscape, in particular the island of Arran off the west coast of Scotland, a place I visit on a regular basis. I also like to paint Mediterranean scenes inspired by recent travels.

I work from my home in Glasgow and exhibit my work mainly through the Arran Visual Arts Society exhibitions, held twice a year and the Brodick Castle Winter exhibition, held every November at the castle.
